TutorTrack — Privacy Policy

TutorTrack ("the app", "we") helps private tutors manage their students, lessons, packages and payments. This policy explains what data we handle and how.

Who controls your data

The app is operated by MFSoftware. Contact: support@tutortrackapp.com.

What we collect

Account information — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account.
Content you enter — the students, lessons, packages, payments and notes you add. This is your business data; you control it.
Student contact details you enter — names, emails and phone numbers of your students, used only to let you send them reminders/statements that you initiate.

We do not collect location, advertising identifiers, or track you across other apps. We do not sell your data.

How we use it

To provide the core features (storing and displaying your students, lessons and payments).
To send account emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset).
To send reminders or statements to your students when you choose to.

Where it's stored

Data is stored securely with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) and protected so that each tutor can only access their own data. Emails are delivered through Resend. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and all associated students, lessons, packages and payments.

Children

The app is intended for tutors (adults). It is not directed at children. Any student details entered are managed by the tutor.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data from within the app, or contact us at support@tutortrackapp.com for any privacy request.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
